You may have already heard the fantastic news that our application to the Notts County Council "Legacy Fund" has resulted in a provisional grant of £25,000, subject to meeting certain terms and conditions.
Chairman Richard Howard says:
"This is fantastic news for our Club and for tennis in Bassetlaw! We are over the moon and cannot express enough thanks to the Nottinghamshire County Council Legacy Fund for this award and for recognising the important role that rural sports clubs play in the community.
Over the past 20 years members have worked extremely hard to improve our facilities at Wheatley and these monies will mean that we can now carry major improvements to our courts which should help secure our future for years to come. We expect work to start at the end of this season."
